Why ONE earring?
In my early twenties, I let a girlfriend pierce my ears using ice
and a needle. After several attempts to successfully pierce my thick ear lobes, the needle did not go in straight and
the hole healed off to an angle in my right ear. Long earrings do not hang nicely from that ear so I have worn post
earrings for decades (literally). My newly found solution has been to wear one striking earring in the left ear and a
stud in the right (thank you Jude). Now, after all these years, it is a look that suits me
...as well
as others.

in the spirit of fun...NO animal piercings were performed on Charlie or Lily.

A note about the only titanium posts that I use as a design element in my jewelry:
